I'm glad I got to see the people that came out to the show in Baltimore tonight. I will miss them.

We are now on the road to alabama, 12 more hours. We'll be there for two days for two shows. Yum.
I'll be writing some new songs for sure, I'm excited.

Night one. Drunk. Happy. Friends. Van. Content. Lots of black people though.

music: I'm From Barcelona - "We're From Barcelona"

Band pictures were yesterday in the freezing city of Westminster.
It went pretty well I definitely think, can't wait to see how they turn out.

The sound of the band is one of the best things I've been a part of for sure. It's sort of Sigur Ros and Cursive meets mewithoutyou.

I'm excited.

in other news,
I want a new cat..like now

music: Los Campesinos! - "Knee Deep At ATP"

I'm writing a letter adressed to the Orioles Baseball Stadium cordinator and other officials to impliment a "go green" baseball stadium.

Why? Because baseball is the single most inefficient (energy wise) sport in America.
Not gas-guzzling NASCAR, not 24/7 refridgerated stadiums of Hockey, but Baseball.
-baseball is the most inefficient energy wise because it has the most games played in a single season.
-more games means more electricity for those big lights and billboards used, more fans driving CO2 emmiting cars, and more trash being thrown around after each game, and more wooden bats being broken and nedding to be replaced.

Currently, the only green freindly baseball stadium is held in Washington, D.C. for the Washington Nationals. They have a great outlined econimic and eco-friendly blueprint for the stadium..& it barely cost them anything (this is in relation to how much it costs for yearly maintenance of a stadium anyway).

With the way global warming is going right now,
it's around half retarded how we don't react accordingly.
..baseball games are great and all if you've got a beer/hotdog in one hand and not the thought of breathing in pollution in the other I suppose..

Hopefully this goes through. Especially with "go green" items and inventions all of a sudden becoming "popular" - when they should rather be seen as needed, I think.
Oh, and that all electric car is coming out in 2010! finally saw the commercial yesterday.
The commercial actually doesn't make it look as good as it really is. in the commercial the narrator says "The new Chevy Volt can go 40miles without using any gas,". When it can actually go 40 miles before having to use gas for a few minutes just to make more electricity, AND the fact that the car just has to be PLUGGED into a socket to charge only a few times a month (if even that).

Wow alright, I've made this long enough. hopefully my letter is considered, if not, I'll try and get some names on a form and make some calls to the mayor even. We'll see.

It's good.

Alex Otake's going-away-party is tonight. That lame guy is leaving..& it sucks.

"Cause --> Effect"

He presses his eyes against the camera with
the lens held up by his winter ready wool mittens.
"I tried capturing you the best I can,
the best I can with these paper-like hands."

Merry merry anniversary!
So this is November.

Oct. 28th, 2008 | 10:10 pm

As the days go on, to be honest, this is the toughest crossroads
of my life that I've been through in...well, I think ever.

& I'm full of contradictions all around me;
I'm content yet I won't have a home within these next few days.
I'm taking things as they are, not as they were, yet nothing is staying the same.
I've lost my appetite, but I'm starving to spoil someone with dinner dates and
hapiness.

One step at a time.

It's like walking a tight rope over a pool of sharks, with your eyes focused
on the cotton candy that some little girl in the audience is holding.

I'd like some cotton candy right about now.

music: WeCameWithBrokenTeeth - "Let's Play Find The Body"

Went to York.
Po-po came and ruined the fun. Apparently Ryan's RA
isn't too fond of him? I dunno. She was being a bitch.

All they got us for was drinking on a dry campus..
& luckily too, cause we waz blazed when they came in, aha.
I don't know how they didn't notice, I'm just glad they didn't.
Anyway, the night went on and was fine. We celebrated our
getting caught by going to a party and drinking.

Camping was super fun. Although, I will probably never eat
another hotdog ever again.
There's nothing more accomplishing then getting up a tent,
and building/having to keep alive your own fire.
drink drink. smoke smoke.
It was veddy nice.

music: Jeremy Larson - Immovable

Supposed to be going to York, PA with Patrick to visit Ryan this Friday.
It'll be really cool cause I haven't seen his place yet. Well,
I haven't seen Ryan in general in a while so that'll be good.

Then the plan is to go going camping with Mike Cohn, Saturday til Sunday afternoon,
and then striaght to looking at this townhouse on Wilkens Ave.

"Syntax"

Oct. 14th, 2008 | 05:39 pm

I'll send you a postcard from my chair in our kitchen to your dreams when you sleep,
To tell you that I'll have breakfast ready when you wake and join me.
5 years being married and I never tire of this routine.

There's a billion people in this restraunt and I only see your gorgeous galaxy eyes.
To tell you the truth, when I say it I mean it, so yes, I'm honestly the luckiest guy.
I can't believe these 12 years of being married still feel like the first five.

"Honey, I'm sending you and the kids my best from here in Chicago from my computer chair.
This email can't express how much I hate having to miss the kids' baseball game & not being there,
17 years of being married and I'm sorry you think that I don't care."

Oh you may hate them, but I love that you have wrinkles decorating your face,
Cause I can brag about how those wrinkles came from me making you smile day-to-day.
25 years of being married was too soon for you to be taken away.
I love you forever and ever and ever and always.

Dear dad, I'm writing this from yours and mom's old kitchen chair with your grandaughter sitting next to me.
But I just wanted you to know that I'm doing well, everything is good, and my wife is still hands down the best thing.
3 years being married now so I think you'd be proud of me.
I just regret that your 2 year old grandaughter will grow up without mom's uplifting jokes and you can't watch me walk her down the isle on her wedding.
I'm sorry I haven't visited you in a while it's just that right now it's hard to do that and be calm.
Sis says hi. She still talks about you like you're not even gone.
I did what you wanted though and bought post cards to deliver directly to my wife after we layed you next to mom.

I'll send you a postcard from my chair in our kitchen to your dreams when you sleep,
To tell you that I'll have breakfast ready when you wake and join me.
5 years being married and I never tire of this routine.
